Engine #308 was the fifth engine in the consist. It is an SW1500 built by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors in June 1972 as Southern Pacific #2659. It was retired from SP in October 1994 and was sold to Helm Financial Corporation on September 1, 1995. It was used on the Manufacturers Junction Railway and the Indiana Harbor Belt before being sold to the Weyerhaeuser Woods Railroad in 1996.
