I originally posted these pictures on my old website on February 9, 2008.
I took these pictures of my HO-scale model railroad on December 23, 2006. Some of these pictures feature some undecorated locomotives that I purchased with plans to paint them for my freelanced Logan & San Miguel Railroad.
The captions for these pictures were written as if my layout were a real railroad in Oregon called the Logan & San Miguel Railroad (or L&SM for short), and as if these pictures were historical photos posted on the company’s website. I have posted the pictures in the order I took them, whereas when I wrote the captions the pictures were in fictional chronological order.

This Alco S2 is another secondhand locomotive destined to be painted in L&SM colors.

This Alco RS11 was a wreck-damaged unit that was traded back to Alco by its original owner. It was rebuilt by Alco and sold to the L&SM.
