Cotton Belt GP7 #3310 by Atlas

I never posted pictures of these commissioned models on my old website, but I am including them now for completion.

This HO-Scale Rio Grande GP7, #5103, is an Atlas model that I was commissioned to work on in November 2007.

This model was hand-painted in the Cotton Belt’s gray and red colors.

Whoever painted it did not paint the frame or anything below the frame, all of which is supposed to be gray.

This model has also lost its end handrails.

I painted the frame and everything below gray, along with the handrails. I also painted the vertical handrails at the steps white.

I still needed to install new end handrails, which I eventually did. Pictures of the completed locomotive will be in a future post.
