The Great Western and Atlantic Train Show was held at the Clark County Fairgrounds near Vancouver, Washington on November 12-13, 2005. This was the first train show I brought my digital camera to, and I discovered that pictures of moving model trains usually don't come out.
This was the first time I saw the Twin Lakes & Western HO-scale layout, and I was impressed. As a result, I took quite a few pictures of it.
The working Drive-In Theater appears to be showing Harry Potter.
BNSF B40-8W #573 in Santa Fe Warbonnet paint leads another BNSF B40-8W in Heritage II paint through downtown Twin Lakes.
Here is a close-up of a church with a burial in progress.
The Palace Theater in Twin Lakes is currently showing Chicken Little.
Several boats and sunbathers, as well as a Snap-On Tool truck, are at the Twin Lakes marina.
BNSF SD70MAC #9647 in its unique paint scheme leads a BNSF C44-9W in Heritage I colors and a coal train across a bridge and a grade crossing.
Specially painted Willamette and Pacific woodchip gondolas: WPRR #74001 for the Oregon State Beavers and WPRR #74002 for the University of Oregon Ducks. In the background are Southern Pacific SD45T-2 #9359 and Bicentennial caboose #1776.
