Great Western & Atlantic Train Show in Vancouver, WA in November 2005: LK&R Layout

I originally posted these train show pictures on my old website on February 9, 2008. I have included a few that I didn’t before.

The Great Western and Atlantic Train Show was held at the Clark County Fairgrounds near Vancouver, Washington on November 12-13, 2005. This was the first train show I brought my digital camera to, and I discovered that pictures of moving model trains usually don't come out.

As my dad is a member, and this was the first time I'd seen the Longview, Kelso & Rainier Model Railroad Club's new layout in some time, it got the bulk of the pictures.

Longview, Kelso & Rainier Jordan Spreader #100 is in storage at the end of a yard track.

Longview, Kelso & Rainier wide-vision caboose #41 is on the caboose track.

Here is a view of the engine terminal, with unusually empty fuel racks and enginehouse.

Longview, Kelso & Rainier GP40-2 #301 & GP60 #360 (apparently undergoing some dynamic brake work) with Electro-Motive Division GP60 Demonstrator #5 in the engine terminal.
