Union Pacific Streamliner Information

I originally posted this information on my old website on March 26, 2009. I have since updated it.

The link at the end of this post leads to a spreadsheet featuring information about Union Pacific's streamlined passenger trains. Most of the information came from the book The Union Pacific Streamliners by Harold E. Ranks and William W. Kratville, with additional information from Journey to Amtrak by Harold A. Edmonson, Union Pacific Modeler, Volume One, Volume Two and Volume Four by Metcalfe Publications and UtahRails.net.

The spreadsheet includes the following information:

Union Pacific Streamliner Timeline

This sheet gives a chronological history of Union Pacific's streamlined passenger trains.

Union Pacific Passenger Diesel Roster (by Date)

This sheet lists Union Pacific's diesel passenger locomotives in the order they were acquired, with all subsequent numbers and rebuildings. Numbers in parentheses were planned but not applied.

Union Pacific Passenger Diesel Roster (By Number)
